After several fabulous days in Palm Beach, Emily and I headed an hour and a half south to Miami! Miami is a completely different vibe than Palm Beach (honestly, it is like no where else in Florida, or the U.S. for that matter). If Palm Beach is preppy, sophisticated, and laid back, Miami is crazy, trendy, diverse, and is all about having a good time. Palm Beach is where you go to relax and Miami is where you go to see and be seen.
Miami's dress code is also night and day from Palm Beach. Instead of bright colors and gingham, Miami is all about loud patterns and showing some skin. Whether poolside or on the beach, a fabulous cover up is key.

In my opinion, Miami is the hottest and most humid city in Florida. Even in December it is sticky! You will want to come prepared with a hat (to cover your frizzy hair and protect you from the sun) and light and airy dresses or cover ups. Armed with a skimpy bikini, colorful cover up, and fruity drink you can pool hop from one chic boutique hotel to another on South Beach in true Miami style.
